I don't know if any of you bothered to tune in to the Simpson's Halloween special on Sunday, Treehouse of Horror MMCCCLX, but if you did, you witnessed the sad spectacle of "The Day the Earth Looked Stupid", a transparent and lame attempt at parody.
The worst and thus most offensive part? It wasn't even funny.
Way to sail over that shark

I'm giving up on The Simpsons. I feel bad about it too. But at least we have about 7-8 years of really good stuff before it got dumb.
It is sad! I'd been bothering John all day not to let me forget to watch it and now I wish he had let me forget. When it ended, I sat there w/my mouth open, and John said "uh, they do know they're a cartoon, right?" At least I still have South Park! :)
