I hope I'm not the only one that sings songs to my pets. To Cornflake, I sing "C Moon" and substitute "C Flake" in the lyrics. He seems to enjoy it.
Today is lil' C's birthday.
"C-Flake, to meeeeee"

Cool New Product Alert
I am not the type of girl who gets manicures. I have a few reasons for this-- price, practicality, and the fact that due to my love of milk and milk products, I've always had healthy, strong nails. But occasionally I do like to wear polish. However, I usually don't, because it is hard to apply to my dominant hand (the righty) without the result looking like a four year old applied the polish. Then there's the drying time...being the klutz I am, I always smear and smudge wet polish. Also, it chips and peels and generally looks trashy after about a day or two. So I've just stopped painting my nails altogether. And then I found this:
Dry nail polish applications! No dry time, no difficultly applying to the dominant hand, no smearing. So excellent. Here are my results:
I chose a sheer pink with light pink sparkles. Very subtle and nice. It was so easy, too! This brand, Incoco, is available only at Walgreens. I think I paid about $5. It comes with a nail buff/shine/file and cuticle stick, as well as a polish remover cloth. It says the applications should last for 14 days. Awesome!
